The city of Fulton, the Itawamba County Development Council and the Fulton Main Street Association are moving full steam ahead on plans for the city's Freedom Fest, a three-day event on the Itawamba Community College Fulton campus celebrating the 250th birthday of the country.

Notably, this year's festivities will feature a carnival put on by Mississippi Delta Shows, in addition to the usual games, food, live music, fireworks and fun.
