BLUE MOUNTAIN - Blue Mountain Christian University officially cut the ribbon on the latest advancement in their ever-expanding healthcare education program, while also honoring a local healthcare legend in the process, as the ribbon for the Jesse Mauney Center for Healthcare Education was officially cut on Friday, May 1 in front of a sizable crowd of both school and local officials.

The latest ground expansion since the inception of the Blue Mountain Christian University School of Nursing in 2023, the Jessie Mauney Center for Healthcare Education is set to equip students with further amenities and resources to aid them throughout their journeys in nursing and other related programs. Located right off of Highway 15 across from the Blue Mountain Fire Department, the facility was built by G&M Construction of Ripley, and is one of many developments that have either been built or are in the process of being built on the campus of BMCU, with construction on the Center for Grace & Healing happening just down the road from the Jessie Mauney Center for Healthcare Education.
