HOUSTON – Chickasaw County School District Superintendent John Ellison tendered his letter of resignation for his position on the Itawamba Community College Board, and it was accepted by the Board of Supervisors last week.

Ellison, being the superintendent, cannot serve on the board due to it being a conflict of interests, and that is why he resigned.
