TUPELO – A man who is already serving prison time for drug convictions has been sentenced to serve an additional 15 years for trafficking a controlled substance.

Caleb Jakwon King, 23, of Oakview Drive, Tupelo, pleaded guilty to trafficking fentanyl Monday in Lee County Circuit Court. Following the plea, Judge Kelly Mims ordered King to serve 40 years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with 25 years suspended, leaving 15 years to serve. King will also have to serve five years of post-release supervision following his term of incarceration.
