Last year, new playground equipment and benches were installed at the front of the Bartahatchie Community Center.

Bartahatchie Rural Community Development Club held its regular meeting Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. at the community center, with Melody Cantrell as host.

President Jeff Box called the meeting to order. Claude Cantrell opened with a prayer, and the pledge was said. MLK Day was observed. Minutes and the financial report were given.
