AUSTIN, Texas – No. 10 Mississippi State landed the response it needed Saturday afternoon, and the Bulldogs did it against one of the nation's top teams.

Jacob Parker homered, Drew Wyers delivered the biggest swing of the day and MSU held off a ninth-inning push to beat No. 4 Texas 7-4 at Disch-Falk Field, evening the weekend series and giving State a marquee road win.
