STARKVILLE – A Clay County man who fled to the Chicago area last year to avoid being arrested, has pleaded guilty to multiple child sexual abuse charges and will spend three decades in prison.

Kenneth McWilliams Jr., 42, of Highway 50 West, West Point, pleaded guilty in Oktibbeha County Circuit Court to one count of the sexual battery of a child and one count of the sexual exploitation of a child. Tuesday morning, Circuit Judge Michelle Easterling sentenced McWilliams to 30 years for the battery charge and 40 years on the exploitation charge, with 10 years of the latter suspended. The two sentences will run concurrently.
