The city of Fulton has unveiled plans to update and upgrade the aging Fulton City Park.
During the Itawamba County Development Council’s Annual Meeting and Awards Thursday night, Fulton Mayor Emily Quinn presented rendered images of tentative plans for the upgrades for City Park. The proposed plans show a revised park that features tennis courts, pickleball courts, a new playground and combination soccer and baseball fields in addition to baseball and softball fields. The baseball field will stay where it is, while the softball field will be moved farther toward the center of the park, away from the city's sewage lagoon.
