An Itawamba student has earned a scholarship which will go a long way toward her college education.

Itawamba AHS senior Laney Hill has been awarded a $6,000 Yates Companies, Inc. Scholarship for the first two years of college. Laney was selected by a scholarship committee at The Yates Companies, Inc. based upon academics, extra-curricular activities, and two short essays.
