The Tremont Eagles spent their day off from school on the diamond last Monday. The Mantachie Mustangs baseball team scored eight runs and held the visiting Tremont Eagles to six in the non-league game.

The Eagles' Cooper Platt pitched a complete game. Ryan Marks was 1-for-3 with a double and Ethan Yielding was 1-for-2.
