Great music is great music, no matter the size of the venue or the size of an artist’s fan base. Over the course of five days last week, I got to experience both ends of those spectrums, and they will go down as two of the best concerts I’ve ever witnessed.

Missie, Garrett and I drove up to Memphis on that Tuesday to see Robert Plant at the Orpheum Theatre. For the uneducated among you, Plant was frontman for the greatest rock band of all time, Led Zeppelin. After they broke up, he kept making records – some solo albums as well as collaborations. His current band is called Saving Grace, which performs roots and folk music.
