Sunny side up

It is once again Thanksgiving. When I begin thinking of blessings in my life, I always find you, my loyal readers, among them. Although it has been almost 40 years, it seems only yesterday I began my weekly visits with you. Thank you for allowing me to share my stories of everyday life (in the slow lane). Sometimes I go too far in describing every detail in these stories, but that’s just who I am. I am the perfect example of the old saying, “Ask her what time it is and she’ll tell you how to build a clock.” I guess it’s good to be the “perfect example” of something, even if it’s talking too much.

Most of the stories that I share with you are happy ones. What a blessing it is to be able to recall so many of those. But, of course, there are sad times that come along. Thank you for allowing me to share those times with you. I also thank you for the prayers you have offered for me and mine, helping us make it through those “uphill” times.
