All of us can think back to the countless birthdays and Christmas mornings when ripping through gift wrap meant the world to us. Some age groups can remember how big of a deal getting a wooden baseball bat or set or roller skates was, while others can relate to finally getting that Pound Puppy, Pokemon or Polaris four-wheeler.

The joy we experience through childhood never really goes away, but it has a tendency to mature with time. At some point, we realize the true meaning of Christmas and get more of a thrill out of seeing the excitement that comes with the gifts we give as opposed to opening up our own presents.
