Starkville choreographer Kayla Marie Gilmore performs a dance number set to the music of the late gospel singer Mahalia Jackson last May at the Amory Municipal Library. She will perform a Black History Month program at the library Feb. 28. 

AMORY – The Amory Municipal Library will host its Black History Month program Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. with guest Kayla Marie Gilmore, a choreographer from Starkville. It’s a free event.

It’s a stop on her Roots, Resilience & Legacy tour – a moving tribute through dance, story and history.
