PONTOTOC- The Pontotoc track and field team hosted the Warrior Nation Invitational last Thursday, March 26th. Each of our three schools competed well in the meet, with multiple first-place finishes: Zaden Frierson in the boys' 300m hurdles (personal record, 40.80 secs), Pontotoc in the boys' 4x100m Relay, Caleb Ball in the boys' high jump (6'6"), and South Pontotoc's Ace Easterling in the boys' 100m dash (11.09 secs).

Pontotoc enjoyed a nice day at the track. Caden Grant reached a personal best of 11.24 seconds in the boys' 100m dash (3rd place). MJ Riley placed fourth in the boys' 200m dash with a personal best of 23.23 seconds. The Warriors took second (Tim Jones, PR-40.80) and third place (Zaden Freirson, PR-15.27) in the boys' 110m hurdles. Freirson, Riley, Kyan Roberson, and Ball placed second in the boys' 4x200m relay with a personal best 1:32.84. Jones placed fourth in the long jump, and Rhett Mitchell placed third in the pole vault.
