The Pontotoc county board of Supervisors are readying final numbers for the budget which will begin October 1. The budget has to be approved by the mid-month meeting September 14.

“The numbers look good,” reported Chancery Clerk Ricky Ferguson. “We aren’t going to have to raise taxes because of the growth in land values.”
