SPRINGVILLE- Tishomingo County jumped on top early and gradually pulled away on their way to a 12-4 win over South Pontotoc on Friday.

Mistakes cost the Cougars, as the Braves started the game with four runs on only one hit in the top of the 1st inning. Spencer Kirk and Beau Crum walked before Jonah McDuffy lined an RBI single. Another walk was followed by a run scoring on a wild pitch and an RBI groundout by Cooper Hopkins. A two-out error on a ground ball from Brennan Walker made it 4-0.
